The tofold is an innovative indoor and outdoor table. The design of the table allows a doubling of the table surface while the table legs move along with the corners of the product.
The second reason that makes the tofold unique is because of the way the complexity of the construction is hidden while the tabletop appears to be floating. The table size, when closed, is a square of 1.5 meters by 1.5 meters. When opened, by pulling one side of the table, the span of doubles reaching 3 meters by 1.5 meters. Once the table is open you simply have to flip over the double layered tabletop to create an area for fourteen people.
In the design process special attention was paid to the user comfort, sustainability of the construction and making it weatherproof.
